Acıbadem Kocaeli Hospital

Acıbadem Kocaeli Hospital serves the Marmara region from İzmit, the provincial seat of Kocaeli. Operating in a 6,500 m² facility with 55 inpatient beds, it is one of the group's smaller campuses — and for some patients that is the point. Consultations are less rushed, the building is easier to navigate, and a patient is not one of several hundred admissions that day.

Cases requiring capacity beyond this site are referred within the Acıbadem network rather than outside it, so records and consulting team stay continuous.

For international patients, İzmit is worth considering as an alternative to Istanbul. It is roughly an hour and a half from Istanbul by road and closer still to Sabiha Gökçen Airport, but costs less to stay in and moves at a calmer pace than the city. Free patient parking and on-site banking services are available, and the hospital sits in central İzmit with hotels within easy reach.
